The York Shag Club meets the 1st Saturday of each month at
Local Motion Bar
& Grill,
located at 4555 Charlotte Hwy (Hwy 49), Lake Wylie, S.C. Parking is
limited, but you may park in the lot at the Shopping Center next door.
There is a $5 cover charge.
Local Motion Bar
& Grill
has
a full menu to select from. However, heavy hors devours are provided by
club members. A beach music DJ is provided so you can shag to the music
on a 16’ x 20’ parquet floor. Drinks prices are $2.50 for beer and $3.75
for mixed drinks. There is seating for about 60-70 guest. Approximately
100 members are expected on an average night.
Smoking is allowed around the bar area. TV's are also located around the
bar.
The York Shag Club holds a popular annual vinyl party. The YSC also
participates in the Fifth Saturday dances in the area. You will enjoy
great music, lots of good food, and be greeted by friendly folks at this
location.
