The Beach Boppers of Orlando meet every Sunday and Wednesday nights at the Why Not Lounge located in the Holiday Inn in Altamonte Springs. The Why Not Lounge has a 15’ x 24’ Parkay dance floor in front of a bandstand with plenty of table seating around the floor. Their own club DJ s Jerry Munson, Edee Dickinson and Frank Umont play for the crowd where there is usually at least 50 people dancing to shag, bop and swing. There is no cover charge to enter this non-smoking facility. Full bar available and limited menu. The Beach Boppers of Orlando also sponsor an annual weekend event in November called Orange Squeeze.
