The Beach Shaggers of Birmingham shag club dances every Tuesday night (with a few exceptions) at Kelly Ingram VFW located at 1801 11th avenue North. Weekly FREE dance lessons for beginners start at 6:30 pm, these usually last a half/hour. Dancing starts around 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. There is no cover charge. The VFW has a well stocked bar (good drink prices). No other foods are served. Popcorn from bar and vending machine available or bring snacks. Huge dance floor!!! Smoking in the bar area ONLY.
