Junior Shag Dance Lessons - It's FREE! (For Beginner I level & any level junior shaggers.) September 25 - October 30, 2008 (For ages 8 - thru 20, male or female, no partner required) sponsored by The Charlotte Shag Club and Lynn's To be held at Lynn's 4819 S. Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28217 (I-77 South at Exit 6b, across from Embassy Suites) Lessons will be from 5:45 -7:00 PM each Thursday for 6 weeks beginning Sept 25 thru Oct 30, 2008. On-site adult supervison. (The bar will be closed and no alcohol will be served during these hours to provide a safe environment.) Parents and adult chaperons are welcomed. Please help us make this a big success for the Junior shaggers! This is a perfect opportunity to bring your children, grandchildren, and friend's children to learn North Carolina's official popular State Dance - The Shag! Bring a friend, or two, or more! Instructors: Bill Bateman, Fran Taylor, and Crystal Treadaway. Beginner I group will learn the basics of the shag dance. Other group levels will enhance and build on what you already know.
