2008 BB&T Beach Music Concert Series
Join thousands of other beach music lovers at the 5th Annual BB&T Beach Music concert series in downtown Greensboro. Since 2004, CHS and our corporate partners have raised over $200,000 through the Beach Music series to help support our mission of "promoting the right of every child to a permanent, safe, and loving home."

ST JOHN'S DAY - OXFORD, NC...
Help the Shriner's raise money for the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
Parade starts at 9:30
Performing on the main stage at The Home.
Right after the Parade at about
11:30am - 2:00pm...
The streets of Oxford will be filled with the sites and sounds of St. John's Day 2008 on Saturday, June 21. "North Carolina's biggest and best Shrine parade will start at 9:30 am on Saturday, June 21."
On hand again will be Lancaster's Barbeque and vendors from around the state "cooking up" BBQ, fried chicken, hot dogs and hamburgers, chicken fingers, French fries, cotton candy and a variety of desserts.
St. John's Day is a day for the whole family, as the kids can enjoy rides and games on the campus.
Your trip to The Home needs to include a visit to the children's cottages for an Open House Tour and a chance to view the history of The Home.
Entertainment concludes the day with two of the state's most popular traveling bands -
THE CRAIG WOOLARD BAND
(who performed at May's Alive After Five) and
The Pizzazz Band -

"Summerfest" is presented as a public service by the Kernersville Foundation, Inc.
There is no admission charge for any of the concerts but members of the Kernersville Foundation will be accepting donations.
These proceeds will be used to support the Kernersville Foundation's mission of providing financial assistance to non-profit agencies serving the Kernersville community.
Summerfest began in 2002 in an effort to inform the community about the Kernersville Foundation. The concerts and fireworks are made possible by the generosity of local business sponsors.
All proceeds from the event are used solely to support local non-profit agencies.
