The Second Annual Beach Bash will be held at the Crown Arena on Friday, April 11 at 7 p.m.
For the second straight year, the Crown Arena will be transformed into a giant beach, complete with sand, sea shells and tiki bars. Also returning from last year are performers the Craig Woolard Band and the Fantastic Shakers.
A veteran of the music industry since he was 14 years old, Craig has performed for presidents, governors and ambassadors, appeared on stage with famous groups as The Four Tops, The Temptations, the Beach Boys, Percy Sledge, Archie Bell, and Alabama. His music has been heard from the Caribbean, to New York, to California, Chicago, Atlantic City and as far away as Hawaii and Europe. For the past 2 years, he has co-hosted the acclaimed Carolina Beach Music Awards (affectionately known as the "CAMMYS") held each November at the Alabama Theatre in Myrtle Beach. On May 7, 2005, the Craig Woolard Band performed right on the racetrack at the Darlington Dodge 500 in front of 120,000 NASCAR and beach music fans. Craig was honored to be invited to sing the national anthem at the race, which was aired on FOX TV for millions of people!
The third week of September, 1978, was marked the beginning of an era, the formation of The Fantastic Shakers, known as the "South's Finest Show Band." Since the inception of the band, the have performed over 6,000 engagements including over 400 wedding receptions, 700 conventions and clubs too numerous to mention. They have performed from New York to Florida and all throughout the Southeast. South Carolina's Grand Strand has become the band's summer home and their hit single "Myrtle Beach Days" catapulted The Shakers to the top of the Carolinas musical groups.
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 day of show and go on sale this Friday, February 22 at 10 a.m. Tickets may be purchased at the Crown Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster.com or by calling 910-223-2900. The Crown Center's main box office is located at the Crown Coliseum and is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fees may apply.

On Friday night, April 11 we will be playing a new club for us in Lawsonville,NC called Hollywood Hollow. It is located on Hiway 8 north of Winston Salem near the VA line. We take the stage at 9:30 and play until 1:30AM. We are looking forward to seeing some of you there.
