Lynn’s is the home of the Charlotte Shag Club at 4819 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC. They are one of the top shag clubs in the Charlotte area and is open for dancing to members and nonmembers Wednesday through Saturday nights. The wooden 20’ x 23’ dance floor stays full most of the nights with around 150 to 200 people in attendance on shag club nights - Thursday and Saturday.

They have a friendly wait staff. The owner Bill Cole along with the Charlotte Shag Club also sponsors shag lessons, junior shag lessons, CSA competitions twice a year, and special events. DJ’s play each night with live bands on occasion. Parking is limited, so get there early and plan to stay late. Lynn’s is a private club with membership available. Guests are always welcome. Cover charge is waved on Thursdays with the Charlotte Shag Club and free for ladies on Saturdays.

The Charlotte Shag Club also sponsors many other events throughout the year, such as the yearly Flashback party, 50’s Sock Hop, Halloween party and fundraisers for Charitable events like the Cancer Society. They sponsor shag lessons on Thursday nights and lessons for Junior shaggers.
