Lake Lure Shag Club has a new location - Riverside Pavilion on Memorial Hwy.

The Lake Lure Shag Club, which formed in 2005, meets once a month at the Lake Lure Inn & Spa. The dances are held in the Roosevelt Hall building located behind The Lake Lure Inn and Spa. This location has recently been remodeled with new ceiling, air conditioning, and lighting. The entire room is hardwood floor which is perfect for shag dancing. When visiting the Lake Lure area be sure to arrive several hours early to enjoy the scenery of Lake Lure, fine dining, and shopping.
