Twister’s Shag Club meets every Friday night at the Havana Social Club, 1705 Kenton Place, Cornelius. The Havana Social Club is a ballroom where top dancers teach various dances, including shag, throughout the week. The entire club is one large hardwood dance floor. There is plenty of seating and bar is available along with free munchies and a limited menu. There is plenty of parking also. It is a smoke free environment. Shag DJ plays 8:00-until 1:00am.
Havana Social Club has an upscale atmosphere unlike a regular beach club, but the members of Twisters Shag Club will let you know why they are called “The Fun Bunch”.
