The Florence Shag Club meets every Friday night at Circle Fountain , Gregg Ave in Florence, SC. Circle Fountain is a members only club with a great wooden dance floor ( appr. 24’ x 32’). The club is a smoking facility ( fans and smoke eaters in the club) with a bar/grill that serves great  dogs and burgers. Drinks are $2 for beer, $3 mixed drinks, $.75 for soft drinks. Food prices are reasonable too. Entertainment is provided by a shag DJ from 8-12 with an average crowd of 100- 150 on a good Friday night. If you come ready to dance, you won't sit there for long. You may even get the chance to dance with a couple of Hall of Famers! The Florence Shag Club also loves to visit other sister clubs and may be seen on a bus trip now and then. Cool Me Out is the big weekend party that this shag club sponsors each year in August that people from other shag clubs flock to.
