In the first city in the south to have an unlimited supply of electric power, you’ll find the Electric City Shag Club dancing at Pavilions Beach Club & Grill, 120 Market Place Drive, Anderson. This club of 250 members meets here on Wednesday for the regular club night, but they also have good crowds here on Tuesday and Friday nights for shagging. From Clemson Blvd, turn between the Pizza Hut and Med Central and you will find Pavilions. There is no cover to enter Pavilions Beach Club. They have a full menu available along with a cash bar. The wood dance floor is 24’ x 15’ located in the non smoking area of the club. There is seating here near the DJ along with seating in the smoking area near the bar. Shag lessons are also offered here on Monday nights at 8pm. In warm weather the deck is opened up for dancing along with live music with beach bands. You might even find some of the local college kids dropping in to see what’s going on.

The Electric City Shag Club also has several parties a year in addition to their regular shag club night. The well known Electric Storm is held annually and tickets are usually sold out within 2 weeks of going on sale.
