Lynn’s is hosting the 1st
Annual NC/SC DJ Show Off on 3/12 and 3/13/10.
Tickets will be $20 for both days (in advance) and $15 per night at the
door. We will have some of the best DJ’s
around showing off their stuff!
DJ’s include: Murl Augustine, Kyle Beam, Gene Hensley, Billy Waldrep,
Butch Davidson and Farrell Watts and Johnny B as emcee.
We will
have food and special drink prices. Doors will open on Friday at 7:00 p.m. with
DJ’s playing all evening. Doors will
open on Saturday at 12:00; again, DJ’s playing all afternoon and evening. There will be light hors d'oeuvres on Friday night and heavy hors d'oeuvres on Saturday. There will be a free pour on Saturday
from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Lynn’s
has been a long time supporter of shag dancing, and has hosted many
events. We would like to use this
week-end as a common area for regional clubs to renew old friendships and meet
new friends. With everyone’s support, we
could actually make this an annual event.
We are
asking area clubs to help in sponsoring this event. Your club will be acknowledged in the flyers
as well as in the club. We are hoping
that individual shag clubs will be able to contribute $100 toward this
event. The Shag club with the most
pre-registered attendees will get their $100 back. On Saturday afternoon, each sponsor club will
be given the opportunity to announce and promote any upcoming event for their
club.
Registration: $20 Ticket per person for both days. $15 ticket per person, per day, after 2/19/10
