Your Junior Shag Dance has been put on a regular monthly basis !! The dates will be the second Saturday of each month, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, at AMVETS, 1831 Ribaut Road. In case of a conflict with an AMVETS event and it has to be changed to a different date, you will be notified by email. Reminder emails will also be sent out.
All Juniors are welcome - no charge, with snacks and refreshments
served. Instructors will assist in learning new steps and reviewing

Third Annual Charleston Beach Music and Shag Festival to be held this year at the Holliday Citadel Alumni House at 69 Hagood Street, Charleston , S.C. . The Alumni House is only two miles from the Downtown Best Western which is our host hotel again this year. This is a beautifully renovated hotel and the accommodations are really nice. We have a block of rooms for $89.99 a night . Hold your rooms now by asking for the CBMSFestival room price. The Alumni House is very upscale and we will again have Mr. Don's shoes as a vendor so you will be able to get your dance shoes, clothing, and jewelry on site. The Citadel catering service Aramark will be providing the food. We have a large variety of foods to offer. Pepsi and Budweiser will have their wagons on premises. The Surf Radio Station www.949thesurf.com is our Official Radio Sponsor . Both shag clubs Charleston and ILanders will be lending us a hand to help with the festival. Charleston Beach Music and Shag Festival 2008 in Charleston, NC. Hosted by Charleston Shag Club/Islanders Shag Club. Third Annual Charleston Beach Music and Shag Festival to be held this year at the Holliday Citadel Alumni House at 69 Hagood Street, Charleston , S.C. . The Alumni House is only two miles from the Downtown Best Western which is our host hotel again this year. This is a beautifully renovated hotel and the accommodations are really nice. We have a block of rooms for $89.99 a night . Hold your rooms now by asking for the CBMSFestival room price. The Alumni House is very upscale and we will again have Mr. Don's shoes as a vendor so you will be able to get your dance shoes, clothing, and jewelry on site. The Citadel catering service Aramark will be providing the food. We have a large variety of foods to offer. Pepsi and Budweiser will have their wagons on premises. The Surf Radio Station www.949thesurf.com is our Official Radio Sponsor . Both shag clubs Charleston and ILanders will be lending us a hand to help with the festival. This promises to be a great event. I am attaching a flyer for the festival. We regret that every band in the beach music world will not be able to be there.
