The Carolina Shag Club has a new home beginning July 8, 2009. Their new home is at Mckibbons Pub at the Phoenix Inn - 246 Pleasantburg Dr., Greenville.

The Carolina Shaggers meet here on Wednesdays.  Seven different DJ s rotate playing the music for the crowd. The lounge has a spacious wooden dance floor.  Shag lessons are also offered on Wednesdays for beginners at 6:00 and for advanced at 8:15 by Jeff and Dede Ward.  Spacious dance floor, plenty of parking, potential to be a hot spot.  This club also sponsors an annual weekend event for the Junior Shaggers that raises donations for Camp Courage of the Greenville Children’s Hospital. Their Annual "Meet Me in the Middle For a Sand Flea Reunion" is held at the Hilton Greenville.
